WOW Time Flies

So I obviously have not spent much time updating my blog, but I will try and keep up with it so I can to let everyone know what and how we are doing!!!

The first camping trip of the summer! We went to Hells Canyon over Memorial weekend and had a lot of fun! It was good to get away and spend time with the family! Taylor really doesn't have a mullet, they really are pigtails under the hat!!!!

Hannah had her 5th birthday in March and had a blast. We went horse back riding and then went to a hot springs and swam and BBQed for everyone! She is growing up so fast! She was very excited to go to Red Robin on her birthday and got to bring Maycee (the neighbor) with her!!

Taylor drew this at the dinner table one night with her spagetti noodles! I was quite impressed - she may be my artist!!!

Easter was fun this year! We went to my sister house and hid eggs in the lot next door. They even went to the city egg hunt the day before. Grandma got them suckers that had bunny mouths on the other side! The kids loved it!

Yes.....we are crazy and have a new dog! Her name is Zoey and she is a Yorkie (we think)! She is quite the devil dog but the kids love her, and poor Lizzie hates her!!!

Boo at the Zoo!

We went to Boo at the Zoo this past weekend and had a blast. The girls decided to dress up at Thing 1 and Thing 2 this year. I will be painting their faces white for Halloween! I think their hair is bigger than they are!

Skittles the Cat!

We found this cat on our front porch one night, near death from starvation....knowing me, I had to keep the cat and try and save it. It bounced back rather quickly and became the love of my kids's lives! The kids named her skittles. We were going to keep her, but the longer the litter box was in the house, the less I enjoyed having the cat. Sadly to say we don't have skittles any more but she has a new wonderful home with people that love her very much. Now the kids want another cat or dog!!!!! Go figure!

Pumpkins!!

Grandma and Papa got the kids a pumpkin for Halloween and they decided that they wanted to paint them this year! (which was the best idea I have ever heard since no one in my family but me will clean out the pumpkins. I guess they are afraid of getting dirty!!) They are now being displayed on our front porch!!

1st Day of Ballet!

The same week she started school, she started ballet classes also! She loves it and can't wait to stand on her toes!! This day they got to wear crowns and be princesses!!

1st Day of School!!

Hannah has finally started school. This picture was her very first day! I can't believe how fast they grow! She absolutely loves school and can't wait to tell me about her day when sister and I pick her up!

Obviously, I am very behind on keeping my blog updated! This was our last summer camping trip. We went to Hells Canyon and then drove into Wallowa Lake for the day. The
kids had a blast. We all went on the gondola and were feeding the chipmunks and squirrels right out of our hands!!! I am suprised the kids didn't want to take them home with them!! Next year we are going to camp there so they will have more time with the animals (especially the deer that live in the camp ground!)

Birthday Bash!

We even celebrated my 29th birthday and my dad's 55th birthday while we were camping in McCall. Hannah and Taylor got me a pinata (my first one ever) amongst other things, and we had a blast. A very memorable birthday!

Canoe Trip

Our latest camping trip was in McCall. One day we rented from canoes and went back in the mountains. It was beautiful--and a lot of work! The kids thought it was so much fun. We stopped at the end and had a picnic.

The Mouse!!

We went outside one day and we found a new furry friend....or so the kids thought! They went to get their new friend some cheese, so mommy had to pick up the creepy little thing! Oh well, the kids had a blast feeding it--luckily he hasn't came back for more cheese!

CAMPING!!

This is where we went camping last week! It was up above Garden Valley called Silver Creek. I can't believe how dirty my kids got, but they loved it! They have a natural warm pool up there and the kids pretty much had either a bath from the pool or we had to bathe them outside in a tote! We were there from Wednesday through Sunday, and we all were black when we got home, even the dogs (they were the worst)! But we had a blast and Brandon (the clean freak) even got dirty! How could you not!

Brandon's Truck!!

Brandon finally got his truck!! We got it a few weeks ago and went camping with it this past weekend. He loves it and so do the kids! Now we have something to haul crap in!!!!

Jen's Garden!!

I am so excited! I finally have my garden I have always wanted and it is actually growing something other than weeds!!! The kids go out with me and pick strawberries almost daily, we have tons of potatoes and Hannah's corn is growing taller by the day! She is so proud of her corn! I wasn't very happy to find a gopher in my garden eating all of my lettuce whe we got home from Sun Valley----hopefully Brandon took care of the problem when he stuck a BB gun down the hole!!!!
